Description

The subject of the invitation to tender is the supply of electrical energy (eco-electricity) for the city of Wassenberg in North Rhine-Westphalia. The nature and scope of the service are set out in the terms of reference and in the other procurement documents. The delivery period starts on 01.01.2027, 00:00 o'clock and ends on 31.12.2028, 24:00 o'clock. The delivery period is therefore two years. The concrete start of delivery of individual acceptance points may differ from the stated delivery period. In this respect, the information in the terms of reference and their annexes (in particular the list of acceptance points) are decisive. Unless otherwise stipulated in the service description or its annexes, the start of delivery shall be deemed to be the respective start of delivery on 01.01.2027, 00:00 o'clock. The delivery comprises a total of about 50 acceptance points. The projected reference consumption is: • for the year 2027: 1.207.906 kWh/a • for the year 2028: 1.207.906 kWh/a As an admission requirement, it is stipulated that the electricity to be supplied comes exclusively from renewable sources. These include electricity generation from hydropower, including wave, tidal, salt gradient and flow energy, as well as from wind energy, solar radiation energy, geothermal energy or biomass, such as biogas, landfill gas and sewage gas. This also includes the biodegradable fraction of household and industrial waste. Electricity from generating installations using fossil fuels (e.g. coal or gas) or nuclear energy is not allowed.
