Description

For a total of currently 9 daycare centres, the City of Jever intends to award the following services: Delivery of a workday lunch for the children (currently about 320 portions) of the daycare centers. The provision of lunch for children in day-care centres ensures that many children have access to an age-appropriate and healthy diet, which is increasingly no longer guaranteed in families. The municipalities are therefore obliged to have a decisive influence on the nutritional behaviour and thus on the health development in the future life of the children. A responsible supply of lunch can therefore only be achieved on the basis of a health-promoting diet in meal plans and educational content in day-care centres, which are based on the latest nutritional findings in the form of an age-appropriate, full-fledged and varied diet. This is achieved with the attached catering concept. delivery of the frozen (according to §1 Ordinance on frozen food (TLMV)) (cook & freeze) lunch from Monday to Friday, including the assembly of the regeneration equipment (preparation equipment) by the contractor’s staff for self-portioning and dispensing in the respective daycare centre; Wet waste disposal by the supplier.
