Description

The Protestant Deaconess House Berlin Teltow Lehnin is the applicant and developer of the project ‘Umbau Johannes-Jänicke-Haus’ in Halle (Saale). This involves the conversion and refurbishment of an existing nursing home for the elderly during operation. The aim of the measure is to convert double rooms into single rooms in order to meet today's nursing requirements and to improve the quality of life of the residents. Further structural, technical and organizational adjustments accompany the conversion. Funding note: This measure is funded under the ‘Investitionen Pflege und Wohnen’ (Investment Care and Housing) programme of the State of Saxony-Anhalt. The funding was approved by grant decision of the Investitionsbank Sachsen-Anhalt of 6 August 2025. ‘The structural measure – conversion of the ‘Johannes-Jänicke-Haus’ nursing home for the elderly in Halle – was financed by the State of Saxony-Anhalt.’
