The services include, among other things, the certification of the AFZ systems as well as checking • the correct functioning of the devices used in the vehicle, • the entire process chain of data transmission, • the operation of the automatic passenger counting system, • the data preparation, • the accuracy of the counting data after counting error compensation and • the extrapolation. They also include, among other things, the audits during ongoing operation on a monthly basis for a period of five years from the date of certification and include the following services: • Verification that the counting data collected by the RU from the automatic passenger counting system meets the minimum compliance rate requirements set out in Chapter ‘Equipment and sample size’ of Appendix 1. • Verification by plausibility check whether undistorted estimates have been determined for non-collected train number trips on the basis of the collected train journeys. • Preparation of the audited demand data, preparation of a result report on the audits carried out and handover to NAH-SH.
