Description

The town hall in Großenkneten, Markt 1, 26197 Großenkneten, which is owned by the municipality, is to be expanded and the existing building rebuilt. The town hall was built in the 1970s and extensively rebuilt in 1995. In this case, an attic was increased. Another construction project for expansion and energy-efficient renovation took place in 2007. In addition, an outbuilding was built. The town hall is now very cramped and space is to be created for further office, storage and archive rooms. This is to be done through building measures in the existing building (e.g. former council chamber) and an extension. In addition, a new Council Hall is to be created, which meets today's requirements. The new Council Hall places particular demands on representation, design, exposure, media technology and the possibility of a ‘round seating arrangement’. In the area of the council hall, an additional meeting room and associated storage, cloakroom and sanitary facilities as well as a small kitchen for catering at events will also be created. The new Council Hall and the other listed rooms will be built on the first floor of the planned new building. On the ground floor of the new building, a large meeting room is planned in addition to office and storage rooms and a toilet area. In addition, a technical room is to be created on this level, in which, among other things, the server from the existing building is to find space. All floors of the new building should be accessible with an elevator. In the existing building, the caretaker's area is being rebuilt and expanded. In addition, the connection to the new building is arranged in this and the level above it. A space for waste and file containers is also to be created. The common room in this area is to be enlarged and the tea kitchen in it is to be converted. The server room next to the common room is to be relocated to the new building and another storage room will be created here. In this context, the IT of the existing building is also to be renewed and rebuilt. In addition, the office on this floor is to be converted into a workshop and archive for IT. In the level above is currently the citizen service. In this area, the reception is to be enlarged and the currently large office of the Citizens' Service is to be converted into individual smaller offices. In addition to the reception, the sign printing should also be arranged. In addition, the waiting area of the citizen service is to be enlarged by the elimination of an office. On the level above, the current Council Hall will be converted into individual offices as well as a plotter room. In addition, the glass roof, which is centrally located in the building, is to be equipped with shading and the floor coverings in the existing building are to be renewed. All offices of the existing building are to be equipped with air conditioning. In addition, the lighting is to be converted to modern, energy-saving LED lighting. For this purpose, a lighting concept and funding proposals are expected. In the outdoor area, a new parking lot for the employees is to be created. The planned expansion and conversion measures can also be seen from the attached plans. Execution is expected to start in Q1 2025. A construction period of about two years is estimated. The service is advertised according to HOAI 2021, Part 4 Technical Planning, Section 2 Technical Equipment § 53-56, Service Phases 1-8, as well as Annex 15.
