La qualification concerne les domaines suivants:
— la fourniture et l'installation de matériels neufs (structures, organes de manoeuvre, revêtement anti corrosion, etc...),
— la rénovation sur site et en atelier (structures, organes de manoeuvre, articulations et étanchéités, revêtement anti corrosion, etc...),
— les opérations de maintenance courante.
Les prestations de raccordements électriques, de contrôle commande, de peinture et de génie civil ne sont pas dans le périmètre de ce système de qualification.
Matériels concernés: tous types de vannes charpentées et équipements connexes notamment:
— vannes de type clapets,
— vannes segment,
— vannes plates (type wagon, stoney, à glissières, à chenilles ou portes d'écluses, portes busquées, etc...),
— batardeaux,
— organes de manoeuvre ou de manutention associés aux vannes, portes ou batardeaux, - pièces fixes et organes de guidage.
