Description

During Ireland’s hosting of the Presidency of the Council of the EU from July to December 2026, there will be a requirement for a Secure Accreditation System to record Attendees details and manage their access to the various events, meetings and conferences. The Secure Accreditation System will provide: 1. Accreditation of delegates, media personnel, interpreters, civil and public servants, private contractors and all other types of support staff (such as Caterers, Stewards, AV Technicians etc.) participating in events, meetings and conferences organised by a range of Government Departments and bodies. 2. The details of Attendees who use the system to register (in advance) for the events, meetings and conferences to be held. 3. The production of badges (with various levels of Security Access) which Attendees will use to obtain access to the event venue(s) on the day(s) of the event, meeting and or conference. 4. The secure verification and authentication of the produced Identification badges by the Secure Accreditation System when presented to staff at the access point to the venue(s). The Department of Foreign Affairs wish to engage with the market by inviting companies providing accreditation, registration and badging systems to make submissions describing their service and their products, using the form in the Pre-Market Consultation document provided. Interested parties should note that this is not a call for competition, and there will be no award of business as a result of this market consultation process. For full details please see the Pre-Market Consultation document with the PMC Notice published on eTenders, the Irish Public Procurement portal, https://www.etenders.gov.ie, ID 5055419.
