Description

The subject of the procurement is the supply of four electric articulated buses. The client reserves the right to call up five additional electric articulated buses in 2025. The client understands buses with purely battery-electric drive as vehicles that obtain their driving energy exclusively from traction batteries and are charged with electrical energy via a plug-in system stationary for operational use. The customer's operating concept provides for the use of vehicles that can provide a mileage of at least 200 km/day with one load over the entire service life (at least 10 years). It should be noted that all communication about the project process is in German and written. This means that the requests to participate and the tenders as well as all annexes, evidence, declarations etc. must be written in German. The contracting authority expressly refers to the provision of Section 55 of the SektVO and points out that it intends to make use of the possibility of Section 55(1) of the SektVO when corresponding offers are received. The contracting authority also points out that the procurement documents will provide for the availability of a fully operational workshop for the maintenance and repair of the buses within a maximum radius of 30 km (as the crow flies) to the contracting authority’s registered office; it must be operational by the agreed delivery date at the latest. Details can be found in the specifications still in draft. Updates to the specifications are expressly reserved. The contracting authority is dependent on the approval of public funding for the procurement. These have been applied for from the Free State of Bavaria and are likely to be approved in a timely manner. As a precaution, however, the contracting authority must reserve the right to cancel the procedure in the event that the funding is not approved or not approved in full.
