F-Paris: construction work for school buildings
The secondary school is based on the municipality of Magnanville in the department of Yvelines and was built in the 90s. It is a set of 2 educational buildings connected by an inner gallery, and the site also includes a housing building.
AB main building (construction 1993): located in Bérégovoy Square, it is curved in shape, with an inner string and horizontal circulations bordering the central vacuum.
Secondary building C (construction 1995): located at the rear of the main building, it is triangular and organised on 3 levels, with an atrium and peripheral circulations on the central vacuum border.
In view of the obsolescence and numerous faults linked to infiltration, the Ile-de-France region is planning to renovate all the terrace roofs of the 2 buildings, the gallery connecting the 2 buildings and the glass fittings over the central circulation of the main building.
These glasses include smoke extraction works which will also need to be renovated.
The estimated duration of the works is 7 months.
The surface area of the roofs is 3 056 m² SHOB.
The operation will be carried out on an occupied site with a phase enabling the establishment to function.
