Description

The city of Weißenburg i.Bay. is planning to dismantle the existing day care centre at Breitungstraße 16 in Weißenburg and replace it with a new building that meets current structural and educational requirements. The city council decision on this is available. The plot is about 2,500 m2 and is located in a quiet residential area in the east of the city of Weißenburg. To the center / old town center the property is within walking distance about 12 minutes, by bike about 5 minutes. The existing location of the day care centre enjoys great popularity, as in addition to the eastern parts of Weißenburg, especially the eastern parts of Weißenburg also approach this kindergarten and crib. The advertised measure is the new construction of the day care centre. The dismantling of the stock is carried out in advance by the city of Weißenburg with another contractor. A total of 124 children will be cared for in the future day care centre, including 4 x 25 kindergarten children and 2 x 12 crèche children. Due to the size of the existing plot (about 2,500 m2), it will be necessary to build the new building on two floors, as the plot also has parking spaces for the staff, bicycle parking spaces for the children and a spacious free play area, separate for the nursery children and the kindergarten children. The qualities of the existing garden, the large, shady trees and the quiet location at the rear should be preserved. Therefore, the close cooperation of property planning buildings with property planning outdoor facilities is absolutely necessary. Preservation of the existing garden and a sensitive handling of the existing tree and plant structures, especially in the south of the existing building, is required. The building is to be built as a wooden building made of urban wood. The excess cost estimate by the client results in cost group 300 + 400 gross EUR 4.5 million and for cost group 500 gross EUR 0.4 million target for execution and planning is not to exceed this cost framework. The planning is scheduled to start in mid-2026. Relocation of the existing groups from the existing kindergarten to the interim kindergarten is planned for mid-2027. Construction and start of use is currently scheduled for December 2029.
