TII have a requirement to provide bi-lingual displays of Irish and English in accordance with the Irish Language Commissions requests.
In order to address the bi-lingual requirements and achieve best value for money, TII have set out a plan for the purchase of 20 PIDs and the refurbishment of 46 existing PIDS which would bring all PIDs to a standard configuration.
TII require to directly award this activity to Daktronics Limited and sets out the reasoning for this decision below.
