Description

The Städtische Klinikum Dessau-Roßlau (SKD) is a municipal hospital of primary care in which around 100,000 patients are treated annually. The hospital covers almost all specializations in medicine and has more than 2,000 employees. As the third largest medical location in Saxony-Anhalt, it is available as a comprehensive emergency care provider for the treatment of patients in the Saxony-Anhalt East region. At the beginning of 2021, the Municipal Hospital merged with the Deaconess Hospital in Dessau. The Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology and Neuroradiology of the SKD performs all imaging tests before, during and after therapy for the other clinics. The CT devices to be procured must cover the overall need of the house for excellent quality traumatological, internal, surgical and neurological-neurosurgical CT-based emergency and routine diagnostics and also enable high-quality cardiac examinations and spectral imaging. In addition, the equipment should enable an effective implementation of the numerous CT interventions. After appropriate structural adjustments, the device installed in the shock room should not only be used for emergency diagnostics there, but also for predictable examinations of inpatients and outpatients and must be equipped accordingly. Of particular importance are the neuroradiological, the accident-surgical-orthopedic, the vascular as well as the strong oncological focus of the house and the heart imaging. The clinic is responsible for the timely creation of the imaging documents, the immediate provision of the images in the PACS and in the web system and the creation of a written report in high quality. The planned investment is intended to replace the existing large-scale equipment with high-performance equipment of current plant generations, which must be equipped with state-of-the-art software solutions. The devices must fulfil the daily routine tasks as well as enable additional or further examinations and image post-processing. Funding deadlines (accounting until 31.10.2025 must be taken into account). The deadlines apply to structural measures, infrastructure, delivery, assembly and software connections (Intelli Space Portal).
