Description

The subject-matter of the contract is the mechanical cleaning of carriageways – sweeping, washing the carriageway (summer season), cleaning of the carriageways and removing fallen stock from the road lane.
Scope of work:
The provision of comprehensive services, covering the following tasks:
(a) mechanical cleaning of the carriageway, i.e. sweeping (to be carried out from April to October each year with the possibility to start and end earlier or later);
(b) the wash of the carriageway (in June-August each year with the possibility to start and end earlier or later);
(C) post-cleaning of the carriageway (implemented after the end of winter maintenance depending on atmospheric conditions; the scope and timing of implementation each year will be decided by the Contracting Authority);
(D) removal of fallen stock from the road lane (implemented throughout the year at the request of the Contracting Authority). A detailed description of the subject-matter of the contract and the rules and technology for carrying out the works are set out in Annex 1 to the model contract.
The material scope of the service, i.e. lists of carriageways including mechanical cleaning and washing, is attached as Annex 3a and 3b to the contract.
