Description

Dentro del Plan de Sostenibilidad Turística de la Ruta del Vino de Ribera del Duero, la actuación 14 contempla la implantación de la certificación Biosphere, otorgada por el Instituto de Turismo Responsable (ITR), con el fin de mantener un sistema de certificación de sostenibilidad turística del destino, alineada con los 17 ODS. Por tanto, se expone que la actuación objeto de contrato se enmarca claramente dentro de los objetivos de la Ruta del Vino Ribera del Duero. La certificación Biosphere© Destination ha sido desarrollada por el Instituto de Turismo Responsable (ITR), una entidad internacional que nació con el apoyo de la UNESCO, reconocido por el organismo internacional Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), y miembro afiliado de la Organización Mundial del Turismo (OMT). El Instituto de Turismo Responsable (ITR) es actualmente el único organismo que de manera exclusiva puede realizar los trabajos de consultoría y auditoría, así como la emisión de la certificación Biosphere © Destination de acuerdo con la acreditación vigente y los Global Sustainable Tourism Criteria aprobados por el Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC). Además, el Instituto de Turismo Responsable (ITR) es titular de la certificación europea número 010748093 y denominación: BIOSPHERE RESPONSIBLE TOURISM.
