Description

Public transport services in the North Ostrobothnia region in accordance with the route-based concession agreement. In this invitation to tender, a route-based concession refers to a concession contract in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1370/2007 of the European Parliament and of the Council (Service Contract Regulation) and the Act on Transport Services (320/2017), which is drawn up for the purpose of managing scheduled public transport services planned by the subscriber. The content of the right of use is specified in the Annex General terms and conditions of the Route-based License Agreement. An exclusive right under the Public Service Contract Regulation shall be granted to transport services under this contract by means of a separate administrative decision in exchange for the discharge of public service obligations. The exclusive right shall be granted as specified in the draft Concession Agreement.
