Description

The City of Uusikaupunki (the "Procurement Unit") has moved to self-manufacturing in the catering of some of its offices at the beginning of June 2025. To this end, this invitation to tender invited tenders for the supply of fish products and vegetables. The object of the procurement was fish products and vegetables to be procured for the day-care centres and schools of the contracting entity. The quality requirements set for the procurement were described in more detail in the call for tenders. The volume data or products presented in the invitation to tender are not binding on the Contracting Entity and the Contracting Entity has no quantity purchasing obligations. The following locations of the Contracting Entity are to be delivered: - multi-purpose house Wintteri: Viikaistenkatu 3, 23500 Uusikaupunki - Catalan cuisine: Urheilutie 2, 23600 Kalanti - Saarnisto kitchen: Santtiontie 17, 23500 Uusikaupunki The procurement was divided into two areas as follows: Sub-topic 1: Fish products Sub-topic 2: Vegetables Tenderers may have offered both sub-areas separately or only one sub-area. One supplier was selected for both areas. The contracting entity has reserved the right to use suppliers outside the procurement also when necessary, for example during seasons, theme days and national holidays. The product range to be procured for sub-area 1 included various rainbow trout products (pieces, cubes, strips, pulp), skinless herring fillet, perch fillet and perch pulp. The product range to be acquired in sub-area 2 included potatoes, salad base, grated vegetables, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and other vegetables, fruits and berries. The contracting entity orders products according to its needs. The supplier is prepared to deliver the products within 24 hours of the order. The supplier is prepared to deliver the orders on weekdays with a daily delivery fee, regardless of the size of the order.
