Poland-Warsaw: Social research services
The subject of the contract is to test the teaching tools developed by the Institute for Educational Research in the course of the project, to diagnose the ways in which they are used by the teacher and to improve the ways in which the tools are used in teaching practice. Teaching tools include the tasks made available by the Institute for Educational Research in the Creative Commons Bay. They were designed to support teachers in the teaching process and respond to the problems diagnosed by the Institute in the education of specific subjects. These tasks will be made available to the Contractor in the form of an IBE basket. These tasks will be divided according to the subjects covered – this will be the IBE basket. It will be prepared by the Contracting Authority of the following 8 subjects: Polish, English, mathematics, history, biology, chemistry, physics and geography (in basket composition: biology, chemistry, physics and geography will also include tasks that relate to several natural objects). The tasks will relate to the objectives and content of education in the third stage of education (gimnaise).
Tasks from individual subjects (which will be included in the implementation process) will be linked in the so-called implementation units. The unit will therefore consist of one or more tasks – which must be implemented by the teacher as a whole in order for the implementation unit to be considered as having been tested.
Recruited teachers will apply the tasks in accordance with the description and instruction of the IBE basket of the subject they teach. The company also employs mentors who will be responsible for the substantive part of the implementation and support of teachers.
These baskets will be published on the website of the Institute of Educational Research by 31 July 2014.
The subject basket prepared by the Contracting Authority will consist of:
— An introduction – i.e. a description for a teacher of how to use the basket
— The substantive scope – summary description of the content of the task
— the title of the BDP task; links to BDP assignment
— a description of the learning problem that the individual is supposed to help solve.
From each unit implemented, the teacher is obliged to create a mini-report – which will serve as a basis for accounting for the teacher’s and the Contractor’s work.
A detailed description of the subject matter of the contract can be found in Annex 7 to the ToR.
