Description

For the Strabrecht College in Geldrop-Mierlo, a new school building is being built with an expected gross floor area of approximately 8 850 m². This school building must be suitable for secondary education where the MAVO, HAVO and VWO departments are housed in the building. New construction is necessary, on the one hand, because of the outdated current housing and, on the other hand, a decrease in the number of pupils.
The municipal council of Geldrop-Mierlo has now agreed to the planned new construction with a budget being made available for this purpose. Additional budget is available from the financial resources of the school itself. The available budget is based on the VNG standards. It was agreed that the school board of the Strabrecht College will act as the contracting authority.
