Το έργο περιλαμβάνει την εκπόνηση μελέτης στατικής επάρκειας για το κτίριο του παλαιού νοσοκομείου Αλεξανδρούπολης, το οποίο βρίσκεται επί της οδού Δήμητρας, εντός του Ο.Τ. 551, είναι εγκαταλειμμένο και κατόπιν του πρωτοκόλλου παραχώρησης μεταξύ του ΥΠΑΑΤ και της ΠΑΜΘ, πρόκειται να χρησιμοποιηθεί για τη στέγαση διαφόρων δημόσιων υπηρεσιών-φορέων που εδρεύουν στην Αλεξανδρούπολη.
Προϋπόθεση για την ολοκληρωμένη μελέτη στατικής επάρκειας είναι η γεωμετρική αποτύπωση του στατικού φορέα και η αποτίμηση της αντοχής του φέροντα οργανισμού βάσει εργαστηριακών δοκιμών και ελέγχων που θα διενεργηθούν επιτόπου είτε με καταστρεπτικές είτε με μη καταστρεπτικές μεθόδους.
