Ireland-Galway: Construction work for highways, roads
The N63 Abbeyknockmoy to Annagh Hill Road Scheme comprises upgrade and improvement works to approximately 3.2 km of the existing single carriageway near Abbeyknockmoy in Galway, Ireland.
The N63 National Secondary road links Moylough in East Galway to Galway City via the N17 national road. The proposed scheme, extends eastwards from the townland of Annagh Hill to immediately west of Abbeyknockmoy village. It will link the N17/ N18 Motorway Junction at Annagh Hill with a section of the N63 which has been recently upgraded (west of Abbeyknockmoy village). It will also link this recently upgraded N63 section with the village of Abbeyknockmoy.
Works include fencing, site clearance, traffic management, earthworks, drainage, services, pavement, signage, landscaping, accommodation works, kerbing, footway/cycleway construction, safety barrier installation and other associated ancillary items.
