Zorginstituut Nederland stelt via zijn website zorginzicht.nl informatie en tools beschikbaar om goede kwaliteitsstandaarden (richtlijnen), informatiestandaarden en meetinstrumenten te kunnen maken. Hieronder vallen onder meer de (voorheen) zogenoemde HA-RING tools.
Een van de huidige tools is genaamd „GRADE voor Interventies”. Deze tool biedt een stramien voor een kwaliteitsstandaard(richtlijn)-tekst over (preventieve of therapeutische) interventies. Met deze tool kan de GRADE-methode op een stapsgewijze en transparante manier worden toegepast zodat een aanbeveling in een kwaliteitsstandaard op een gestructureerde manier tot stand komt. Deze tool is gebaseerd op het onderliggende rapport „Toepassen van GRADE in Nederland” opgesteld door De Beer, J.J.A. en Kuijpers, T. in samenwerking met de toenmalige werkgroep GRADE-nl.

Naast deze GRADE voor Interventies tool, wil Zorginstituut Nederland een tweede tool genaamd GRADE voor Diagnostiek publiceren op zijn website. Het onderliggend rapport hiervoor is reeds opgesteld (zie bijlage). Met het oog op de consistentie dient tool GRADE voor Diagnostiek qua doelstelling, stijl en opbouw overeen te komen met de al bestaande GRADE voor Interventies tool.
