Barts Health NHS Trust is a major provider of hospital services for London and nationally for a wide variety of specialised and tertiary services. It is the largest NHS Trust in England and operates from five hospitals in east London. In 2014/15 it had an annual turnover of £1.3 billion and employs 15,000 staff.
The Trust is seeking expressions of interest to provide its Soft Facilities Management services across all its sites. Delivery of the following services:
Security, Reception and Help Desk Services
Domestic Services
Patient Catering Services
Cleaning Services
Pest Control Services
Linen and Laundry Services
Car Parking
Patient Entertainment
Services to be delivered in accordance with specified standards, and, managed under a formal performance regime. The requirement will include continuous service improvement, by the provider and the achievement of regular efficiency gains both in terms of cost and performance.
There will be a Bidders briefing session on Monday, 1.2.2016 to set the scene for the project and allow Bidders to better understand the opportunities extending from the project. Further information on how to RSVP is contained within the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire.
