HUS’s activities consist of building, developing and managing environments for education, research and innovation. Developing contemporary and future campuses requires knowledge of how learning environments can support students’ motivation, learning and health.
The rapid displacement and digitalisation of the world requires different methods and environments than previously needed. The development of education and pedagogy is progressing rapidly and today requires rapid and strong intelligence as well as a well-established basis in science and research.
Creating an enriched learning environment requires a multi-skilled organisation. Pedagogical competences will be crucial here to create a successful and shared overall picture of the learning environments of the future. Here people, technology and physical spaces need to interact and work together.
