Description

Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht Zentrum für Material- und Küstenforschung GmbH (HZG) is a non-profit research organisation in the legal form of a limited liability company. Under a consortium agreement between the Federal Government (Federal Ministry of Research and Technology) and the Länder of Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Lower Saxony and Brandenburg, it is financed exclusively from public funds. The registered office of the company is Geesthacht. As an external part of the HZG, the Teltow site near Berlin is part of the HZG. The Research Centre is a member of the Hermann of Helmholtz-Community of German Research Centres.
A neutron dilatometer is to be purchased for the Garching branch of Helmholtz Centre Geesthacht.
This is a disgrace and conversion dilatometer for measuring the length change of metallic samples depending on the temperature in the room temperature range up to 1 500 °C.
