Paragraph 130a(8) of the SGB V allows health insurance funds and pharmaceutical companies to conclude framework rebate agreements for the medicinal products to be supplied at the expense of statutory health insurance funds. With regard to the relevant legal provisions on public procurement, a regular process of active substances-related, formal procurement procedures are carried out by the DAK-G in accordance with the regulations of Part 4 of the GWB. For medicinal products relating to the active substance Pyridostigmin, ATC N07AA02, to be specified by the tenderer in Annex 2 to the contract, DAK-G intends to conclude pharmaceutical discount agreements with all interested pharmaceutical companies as possible until the entry into force of new drug discount agreements. A discount contract under the approval model for the above active substance enters into force for the first time on 1.8.2017 and ends on 31 July 2019. Irrespective of this, it shall automatically expire upon the entry into force of the exclusive agreement.
