Château de Versailles Spectacles is the private subsidiary of the Public Establishment of the Museum and National Estate of Versailles and is responsible for the production, promotion and marketing of shows and events on the sites of the museum, castles and National Estate of Versailles and Trianon. This consultation concerns the ad hoc rental of sanitary facilities and tents for the public for several types of events, the dates of which are set out in the summary table in the annex entitled ‘Great Night Waters’: emblematic event of the gardens of the Palace of Versailles, they take place every Saturday evening in summer. The event welcomes an average of 10 000 people every Saturday evening from early June to the end of September, plus specific dates each year, including: - 14 July for the National Day; - 15 August for the ‘GEN De Feu’; Major annual events: - "Versailles Electro": a concert of French electro music taking place every year since 2019, at the end of May, on the Terraces of the Palace of Versailles, and welcoming 20,000 people. Last edition in 2026. - ‘Le Grand Bal Masqué du Château du Versailles’: the event welcomes, every year since 2011, 2,500 costumed and masked people, who come for an incredible night of celebration shifted in the impressive Orangerie of the Palace of Versailles and its gardens, staged and decorated for the occasion. From 2027, an electro-pop music festival in the gardens of the Palace of Versailles, which could accommodate up to 10,000 people per evening, 1 to 3 times a year. Exceptional events: In 2026, a unique event to celebrate the 250 of American Independence that will take place on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 July in the Trianon Gardens and could accommodate up to 10,000 people per day. It is understood that the timing of these events is subject to change.
