Description

The Prussian Cultural Ownership Foundation (SPK) is currently maintaining the pergamon museum in Berlin on a step-by-step basis. Nevertheless, in order to allow visitors to experience parts of the artworks located in the Pergamon Museum, SPK intends to build an interim construction in the immediate vicinity of the museum island on a sub-area of the museum yards, Am Kupfergrabens 1-3, 10117 Berlin-Mitte. Among other things, it will present parts of the fries and other discoveries from Pergamon together with a panorama by artist Yadegar Asisi.
To this end, the SPK has already prepared plans for the building up to and including the permit planning and guiding details. The gross base area (BGF) of the interim building is expected to be approximately 2 500 m².
Building on these plans, the SPK is looking for a partner with this procurement procedure to undertake the further planning and construction of the interim construction. The construction must be handed over to the SPK for use in 2017.
At present, the part of the museum yards dedicated to the construction of the interim building is being used for part of the site facility as part of the ongoing construction works on the museum island. Prior to the construction of the interim construction, the site installation concerned must therefore be converted and reconstructed on other land in order to release the site. The partner is expected to provide the necessary services.
