Description

The coastline of the Metropole Nantes-Saint-Nazaire needs to be ‘revealed’, as a project space, in accordance with its vocation as an open ‘common good’ practised by all, inhabitants and visitors, and to be ‘activated’ as a reactive space for projects and new uses. To this end, the local and regional authorities and their partners have designed a mechanism to think about the uses and changes of the coastline and to implement them through an initial series of operations. The engineering system involves teams of competent designers in architectural, landscape and urban planning. The two teams selected will be called upon to build together and with the project manager the process of projecting the coastal sequence. Each consortium will hold a framework agreement corresponding to a lot comprising 3 project sectors, which are themselves composed of specific operational sites.
