Description

The outdoor swimming pool "Auebad", built in 1974, comprises a 50 m swimming pool with a laterally arranged jumping area and a water depth of 1.80 - 3.80 m. The non-swimmer pool with a swimming channel from the thermal hall and a wide slide has a water depth of 0.90 - 1.35 m. The pool complex represents the basic supply for swimming lessons and club sports of the community. The non-swimmer pool is used to water for school children, club members and bathers. A closure of the bath would mean a significant loss of capacity in the supply of swimming lessons and club sports in the Wendeburg area and bypass. According to the present investigation (see Annex 3, inspection report), extensive measures and associated investment needs are necessary to maintain swimming operations. The 50 m pool with jumping area and the non-swimmer pool must be refurbished both structurally and technically (see Annex 4, Explanatory report on the application for funding). For this purpose, the pelvic head must be broken off and re-concreted with a re-dimensioned overflow channel. The inflows are to be drilled on both sides in accordance with the requirements of DIN 19643 in the longitudinal walls of the pool (in the jumping area in 2 levels) and the connecting cables are to be renewed up to the technical building. Measuring water connections in both tanks must also be carried out twice. Further information can be found in the information on the subject matter of the service.
