Description

The TK’s e-mail security infrastructure is based on two main pillars. Cisco’s e-mail Security Appliance (ESA) controls all incoming and outgoing e-mail traffic in a multi-layered system for threats and is currently operated on two Cisco Appliance. Cisco Threat Grid Appliance takes over the precise analysis of the attachments in e-mails using detailed threat and content analysis. The TK also uses a Security Management Appliance (SMA) of Cisco as a virtual machine. The TK is planning to continue operating the systems. The contractor must provide the TK with the software licences of the manufacturer Cisco to operate ESA and SMA as a virtual system environment. In addition, the contractor must supply the Threat Grid M6 Appliance to the TK as a hardware component and associated software licences (subscription).
