Description

The purpose of the competition is the selection of the best proposal at the preliminary project level that aims to transform the central connector of the city, an axis formed by the public spaces existing between the Campo de la Estrella, Virgen de la Cerca and Santa Clara, in order to recover that area as a peripheral heritage space directly associated with the Historic City, aligning with the strategy of the 2030 Urban Agenda of Santiago de Compostela (PALA_AUS2030). This action falls within the strategic objective OE2 ‘Avoid urban dispersion and revitalise the existing city’, in line of action 2.5: ‘Reordering the perimeter spaces to the almond and connecting actions of the two rings of the city’.
