Description

The city of Konstanz intends to build a new campus with a primary school, an attached sports hall and a day care centre within the new district of ‘Hafner’ in the north of the city. For this purpose, there is an urban planning framework and master plan. The primary school (2.5-strong) in the district of ‘Hafner’ will accommodate up to 250 pupils and will be divided into spatial programming: the ‘learning house’ will be designed in two clusters, each with four classrooms, as well as associated group and functional rooms. In addition, a ‘research house’ will be provided, which will house various creative spaces. The ‘office building’ will include staff and office rooms. The sports hall adjacent to the primary school with a gross floor area of about 900 square meters is to be planned as a single-field hall. The day care center will comprise five group rooms as well as corresponding function and movement rooms. /// The object of the realization competition are services according to HOAI for the conception of a campus with a day care center and a primary school with a sports hall. The free installations must also be processed. The competition is a one-stage, non-open realization competition with an upstream selection procedure, with 30 participants.
