Description

The subject of this public procurement is the provision of post-warranty maintenance of the technical and basic software of the National Visa Information System (NVIS). They are implemented within the framework of project No BG65BVPR001-2.001-0001 entitled ‘Post-warranty maintenance and renewal of NVIS software components’, financed under an administrative grant agreement with reg. No 812108-10/09.02.2024 under the Programme of the Republic of Bulgaria under the Instrument for Financial Support for Border Management and Visa Policy (BMVI) 2021-2027, co-financed by the European Union. The scope of this contract includes the following activities: - Ensuring uninterrupted and smooth operation of NVIS (HVC and RVC) in 24/7 mode; - Ensuring the continuous connection of the NVIS to the EU VIS and maintaining a constant exchange of information between the systems; - Ensuring the continuous connection of the NVIS to other external systems and maintaining the exchange of information between them; - Provide support from a manufacturer of IBM SAN Volume Controller node and IBM Virtual Storage Center Entry; - Migration of all services from Lenovo Flex System Enterprise Server Subsystem to HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen11 Server Subsystem; - Configuration and migration of backup and recovery software from IBM TS3200 to Dell PowerProtect DD6900 Backup Storage System; - Decommissioning of the Lenovo Flex System Enterprise Server Subsystem and IBM TS3200 Archive Storage System; - Provision of software support by a manufacturer of the IBM Informix Database Management System for 12 months from 1 January 2026. The performance requirements are detailed in the Contracting Authority’s Technical Specification – Annex 1. All documents submitted by participants, including foreign persons, must be in Bulgarian.
