Description

Post-notification of the acquisition, maintenance and development of the mobile application by the City of Tampere. The object and objective of the acquisition is the further development and maintenance of the Tampere Urban Application as a whole, which includes the mobile application, the support and back-end systems closely related to it, and the integrations made to it. The acquisition includes the takeover project, the development of the geographic information platform, the further development and maintenance of the application set, as well as the repair of its defects, documentation and project management with its meetings. Tampere's urban application responds to the needs of residents, tourists and businesses to easily get information about Tampere's services. It currently includes, among other things, route guidance, public transport routes and timetables, a carbon footprint calculator for mobility, the Tampere Pulse, a library card, the Tampere event calendar, tips for travellers and the Rakas Tampere offer passport. In addition, the application offers services aimed at business users. The application contains about 40 integrations to different services, many of which are automatically updated to the application via interfaces. The urban application is constantly evolving, and in the further development phase, functionalities are added based on the feedback received from the users and the needs of the client. Some of the technical specifications were only available on request at Hankinnat@tampere.fi. The technical documents contain a brief description of, for example, the management interface and software architecture.
