Description

Research is to be done of what affect blasting work for the construction of a motorway can have on the bird life in the surrounding nature reserve Hammarvatnet for the construction of a new motorway on the stretch E6 Kvithammar - Åsen.
The bird population is to be monitored from 2023 to 2026, with an option for an extension to 2027, in order to find out whether the blasting work affects the population of nesting birds.
Nye Veier believes that the work is covered by the exemption for 'research and development services' in the public procurement regulations, §2-5.
