Description

The subject of the contract is a specialist service consisting in the preparation of a study containing information on the amount of fuel remaining in the Franken wreck. The entire contract consists of the following elements: - Making a 3D model of the Franken wreck on the basis of available archival documentation; - participation in field work with an underwater vehicle and high-resolution MBES devices in order to inventory the wreckage for the purpose of preparing a campaign with NBS equipment - Designing a non-destructive in-situ measurement research campaign; - Participation in field tests on the Franken wreck together with apparatus, including the NBS measuring device for measuring the presence of petroleum products behind the shutter; - Conducting a research campaign using non-destructive in-situ measurements; - Development of results in the form of information on identified petroleum substances and potential ways to remove them: 1. Determination of the total amount of released substances contaminating the bottom around the Franken wreck; 2. Determination of the volume of the contaminated layer divided into zones of different thickness.
