Description

Through purchase under framework agreements Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO) is planning to purchase the most economically advantageous container systems for the Danish Defence. The container systems will be used worldwide in international operations as well as training exercises (mobile, semi mobile and stationary). The operational systems can be deployed all over the world, which means different and harsh climatic conditions. Requirements to the physical aspect, construction of the containers and interior are therefore very high. Transportation of containers is performed by air, sea and land. Overland transport may imply rough terrain.
The logistic concept for the Danish Defence is mainly based on a CSC approved 20ft standard ISO container 1CC. The complete container system shall be equipped and manufactured implementing the requirements and wishes from the end-users (Danish Defence - Air, Land, Sea), with the best technical solutions in a energy saving and economic advantageous way. The supplier shall also deliver all relevant documentation regarding the deliveries. User manuals, service and maintenance manuals and spare parts catalogue have to be in Danish. Educational material and education can be in English.
It is preferred that all the container systems are based on an off the shelf container. The Tender contains 25 container configurations. The 25 container configurations are sorted into 10 main groups. Each group comprises a separate lot. The number of container configurations per group (lot) varies from one to nine configurations per group (lot). The characteristics for the configurations in each group are similar, therefore the tenderer is committed to bid on all configurations in a group. Components used for the configurations shall be standardised in all configurations of each group. Tenderers who win more than one group are also committed to standardise components between the multiple groups (lots) won.
All the frame work agreements (ie. in all lots) shall include service and training (maintenance, modifications, smaller changes and training of personnel) on an hourly rate (depending on the service in question) from the supplier.
