Development, organization, digitization, documentation, management and promotion of the archive of the Art Theatre
The object of the contract is the digital preservation and protection of the archive of the Art Theatre, given the key importance it played and plays in the field of Greek culture, as well as its emergence through the design and development of a series of actions that will make it known and accessible to the wider public. In particular, it is planned to digitise: 1) Documents • Approximately 700 programs of all performances. • about 300 texts of plays (many anecdotes). • Approximately 150 texts of sounds and lighting. • Approximately 7,000 photographs from rehearsals and performances. • Approximately 520 pieces from the audio-visual material in tapes and videos, Mimis Kougioumtzis Archive (with 16mm films). • Approximately 6,500 newspaper clippings with reviews and press reports. • Approximately 100 videotaped performances (from 2003 to date). • Photographs from rehearsals, performances and events (1970-1998) - about 15,000 photographs of the personal Archive Dimis Argyropoulos. • approx. 150 Slides, approx. 30 analog films and approx. 15 000 digital photographs. 2) Costumes-Scenic-Objects • Approximately 1,500 costumes, masks, small objects of the performances of Ancient Drama. • Approximately 50 parts of sets from Ancient Drama performances. • Approximately 3,500 contemporary repertoire costumes (from the 1950s onwards). • Approximately 50 personal belongings of Charles Koun. • Approximately 20 parts of stage performances of repertoire (from 1942 until today) in stage designs by Yiannis Moralis, Yiannis Stefanellis, Savvas Haratsidis and others. • Approximately 50 pieces of furniture from stage designs by Yannis Tsarouchis, Nikos Nikolaou, Giorgos Vakalos and others. In addition, the Contractor is obliged to install and host the applications and material of the project, in a facility under his responsibility or in a special data hosting center (host center) at no additional cost to the operator for at least five (5) years from the date of receipt of the project. After that, the contractor is obliged to migrate the application to the Digital Data Center that will be indicated to him.
