Description

The HUS Group requests tenders for the controls to be used to ensure the functioning of the PCR tests. The control should be suitable for use with the Standard M10 SD Biosensor. Controls shall be suitable for a real-time PCR reaction. The devices in which the controls will be used are located - in HUS Diagnostic Center's Clinical Microbiology Units in Kotka and Lappeenranta - in HUS Acute Outpatient Clinics' Units in Hyvinkää and Malmi - in addition, HUS reserves the option to extend the use of the purchased control to devices that may be taken into use in other HUS Acute Outpatient Clinics, Jorvi, Lohja, Meilahti, Peijas and Porvoo. The equipment is planned to be commissioned between 2024 and 2026. Estimates of use levels: With the devices located in the HUS Diagnostic Centre units, the controls are performed once a week. With devices located in HUS acute emergency clinics, the controls are performed once a day. This is an estimate and the contracting entity does not commit to the reported use levels. The final order quantities may be higher or lower than indicated. In emergency outpatient clinics, the controls are used by the personnel of the emergency outpatient clinic. This is an overall procurement, i.e. the procurement is not subdivided into lots. As such, the procurement constitutes an appropriate whole. The aim is to use competitive tendering to obtain a product that is suitable for the selections and requires as little manual work as possible. The aim is also to ensure a high level of security of supply for products. The object of the procurement also includes additional products related to the offered products, such as other pack sizes of the product, which are indicated in the Product Information Annex. In addition, during the contract period, products belonging to the product groups covered by the contract that are not specified in the product annex may be purchased in accordance with the estimated value of the contract (see draft contract). The fixed-term contract period is 2 years, after which it will continue for an indefinite period. The subject matter of the contract and its requirements are described in detail in the invitation to tender and its annexes.
