Description

HOCHBAHN would like to update the bus control system/passenger information and management system (FIMS) to the latest state of the art. This includes a new installation of the productive system and the initial installation of a test system. Both systems are installed in a new network environment and on new virtual servers. In addition, various safety requirements are to be implemented, e.g. by classifying the control system as a critical infrastructure. This includes, among other things, the use of encryption technologies, as well as hardening of operating systems and applications.
