Description

The Norwegian Coastal Administration will have a mid-life upgrade of its hydraulic aggregates that are adapted to H. Henriksen's oil skimmers. The upgrade will consist of load-dependent rotational speed regulation (LS control), noise reduction measures, including product suits silencer/exhaust installation, adaptions for the cleaning unit to-from tank, heating hydraulic oil in the installation, as well as tachometer.
H. Henriksen Mek. Verksted AS developed these hydraulic aggregates that are adapted to the Foxtail oil skimmer that the Norwegian Coastal Administration has for its oil protection stand-by service.
As the developer and manufacturer, H. Henriksen Mek. Verksted AS has core competence, built-up over a 30-year period, in these specific products, which together make up a skimmer unit. Components that are included in both systems are specially made for each model and are not “shelf products” in the market that can be used by random tenderers.
