Extension of the primary school Falkenberg to a full-day school
The municipality of Garrel is planning to expand the Falkenberg primary school into a full-time school. It is planned to create an area of approx. 1.150m2 and to reschedule some areas in the existing building if necessary. The basic planning of the construction project should take into account that the school will remain in operation. Access to the school via the southern car park and the bus/bicycle shelter to the west must be guaranteed during regular school hours. Information on existing buildings: Year of manufacture: - ca. 1924/1954 building class wing; - ca. 1947/1953 building administration; - 2004 cultivation classroom. All parts of the building were constructed in a massive way (twin-walled masonry, veneering, truss ceilings or wooden beam layers, walm/saddle roofs with brick cover) The construction costs (KG 300 + 400) are currently estimated at around EUR 3.43 million gross.
