Description

An analytical ultracentrifuge (‘AUC’) device capable of the analysis of sedimentation of particles under high gravitational force, relative centrifugal force at least 250 000 x g. Particles are biological molecules and colloids as well as nanoscale objects. The AUC shall have detection for ultraviolet (UV) and visible (VIS) light and for non-UV-VIS absorbing molecules. Expected outcomes are e.g. molecular weight, shape, conformations, interactions and heterogeneity.
AUC shall have a software both for the AUC system control and for acquiring the experimental data. The AUC software should allow data export for analysis in other software such as ULTRASCAN III.
