32397 Replacement floating infrastructure Fort Harssens in Den Helder
At the defence location Fort Harssens is a marina located between jetties 1 and 2. This marina was built in 1998 and has as main users the KMJC, the port service CZSK and the KNRM. The current floating infrastructure between Scaffolding 1 and 2 is dated with the construction in 1998 and therefore the technical lifespan has expired. In recent years, the costs for (regular) maintenance of the (wooden) scaffolding and (steel) tube piles have increased significantly. This means that cost-efficient management is no longer possible. In addition, the electrical and mechanical installations on the scaffolding no longer meet the current standards. At the end of 2022, the Ministry of Defence decided to replace the floating infrastructure. Surface area: approximately 15,000 m2 bvo Disciplines: - Hydraulic engineering, Dredging, Demolition, Terrain engineering, W&E (Mechanical and electrical installations)
