HU-Nagykanizsa: engineering services
Concerning: Contract of entrustment for the execution of the tasks of the Engineer (FIDIC) and the provision of technical control with a view to implementing the project for the development of the Nagykanizsa agglomeration sewer network and waste water treatment plant.

Performing the tasks of the independent engineer under FIDIC (1999) relating to the planning and construction of the project for the development of the Nagykanizsa agglomeration sewer network and waste water treatment plant, as set out below.
As a result of the present procedure, the Contractor intends to conclude a contract for the provision of a complex service the main subject matter of which, for the purposes of public procurement, is ‘Engineer consultancy and consultancy services’, within which the two main, closely related fields of activity and tasks are as follows:
performing the duties of the Engineer (according to the General Conditions of the FIDIC Red and Yellow Book) and,
— full performance of the construction technical inspector’s tasks, in accordance with the mandatory content of Government Decree No 191/2009 of 15 September 2009, Government Decree No 244/2006 of 5 December 2006 and other relevant legislation, covering all the specialisations and stages (design and execution) required for the works.
In addition, the contractor’s general responsibility and duties include the provision of the following expert knowledge and work related to the performance of the main business, in particular in the fields of financial, accounting, insurance consultancy and operational expertise.
The contracting authority requires all specialised technical inspectors to appear at the location of the execution of the execution site on average twice a week for a minimum period of 6 to 6 hours during the whole period of execution, while the engineer’s representative must be at the disposal of the contracting authority on average at least twice a week, for a minimum period of 6 to 6 hours, at the contracting authority’s registered office or at the locations where the execution takes place.
The successful tenderer (the Engineer) shall perform the tasks specified in this paragraph by 30.6.2013 and, for the tasks to be performed thereafter, the successful tenderer must remain available until the end of the warranty period of the works contracts to be concluded under the Project and until the final report of the project is accepted by the European Union. The successful tenderer must be involved in the preparation of the final project report. The contracting authority hereby informs tenderers that the current deadline for submitting this final report to the European Commission is 1.5.2013.
Total estimated net value of planned works under the project: HUF 9838200000 (Sewage sewerage network: HUF 7289802000 net, waste water treatment plant: HUF 2548398000 net).
