Description

IKTNH shall hold a tender contest for the delivery of fibre lines and internet access. We consider all participating municipalities in this joint procurement to be a joint tender competition. The municipalities of Alver, Aurland, Austrheim, Austevoll, Fedje, Gulen, Masfjorden, Modalen, Osterøy, Samnanger, Vaksdal and Sveio have established a joint ICT operations company, IKT Nordhordland municipal co-operation (IKTNH). IKTNH has entered into operational cooperation with Etne, Tysnes and Vindafjord. These municipalities have partnered with IKTNH in this tender competition. The systems shall be operated cost efficiently for all parts of each municipality. The aim is a future orientated system prepared for new services, it shall be in development and the municipalities shall be offered new technologies as and when they become available and interesting. The offered systems shall be available after the simplest possible price model that does not limit development and with the greatest possible integration between different services and technologies. There will also be a requirement that the systems support an ever closer cooperation between the different municipalities in different areas. The municipalities use several and several joint applications and/or cloud systems in different areas. This will be strengthened in the coming years. Amongst other things, health and care will significantly use digital systems within welfare technology in the coming years. This sector is then increasingly dependent on secure access to data with high requirements for running times and stability of the systems. The systems shall also contribute to strengthening the municipalities ́ stand-by and will be important in internal communication with inhabitants and with national and regional systems in case of any critical situations. We would like tenderers who actively contribute to achieving all our aims. This procurement is mainly for: • Internal fibre lines in the municipalities. • Common internet access
