In the Pongau substation, a hybrid extinguishing system is planned for the protection of the 3 isolier oil-filled 380/110kV transformers and two transformer benches, also filled with isoler oil (each consisting of 3 pc single phase 380/220 kV transformers). The water supply for the extinguishing system is ensured by an above-ground and heated compressed air water boiler.
