Description

The contracting authority is the Romanian Naval Authority (NRA), a public institution with extra-budgetary funding and legal personality. The Romanian Naval Authority is the specialized technical body under the authority of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure through which it exercises the function of state authority in the field of navigation. The NRA is organised and operates in accordance with Government Decision No 1133/2002 and Government Order No 42/1997 on maritime and inland waterway transport, as amended by Government Emergency Order No 74/2006. STIC staff ensures the maintenance of Roris and VTMIS Coastal Systems and IT Infrastructure from ANR Central and Capitanii, i.e. more than 40 sites and, as a result, must be able to intervene in all locations where our institute has equipment. STIC staff should also be able to transport computers and communication or other necessary equipment to any NRA site. The Giurgiu and Severin area captains need commercial vehicles to replace the old ones. Age decreases safety in traffic, due to malfunctions that can occur in operation, with the risk of accidents. Also, the new van models have advanced safety and monitoring systems that increase the safety of the captain's employees and other road users. By replacing vans, repair costs are reduced and due to low fuel consumption technical performance, fuel and environmental pollution costs are reduced, with the current pollution standards being Euro 6. The general objective of the procurement is to increase the safety of navigation on inland waterways and maritime waterways by improving logistical and operational capacity. Supporting surveillance, maintenance and response activities to reduce risks in river/sea navigation The specific objective to which the supply of products contributes The specific objective of the procurement is to improve the operational response capacity to monitor and maintain the navigation infrastructure. Modernisation of the fleet for inspection and maintenance of waterways.
