Description

The subject of the public procurement includes the selection of a contractor to supply consumables and reagents for the needs of the Clinical Laboratory, Laboratory of Microbiology and Laboratory of Transfusion Hematology at USBALO "Prof. Ivan Chernozemski" EAD. The contract includes periodic deliveries, upon request by the contracting authority, of consumables and reagents, divided into 22 separate lots. Deliveries are carried out periodically upon monthly requests and quantities specified by the contracting authority during the period of performance of the contract – 12 months. The estimated quantities shall be described in the Technical Specification for the lot concerned. The Contracting Authority reserves the right, if necessary to continue the deliveries, to extend the term of the concluded contract for the execution of the order. The conditions under which the option enters into force are set out in the draft contract and are as follows: a) The contracting authority, by sending a letter of assignment to the contractor, shall assign the execution of the contract for an additional period. b) The term of the contract may be extended up to 3 (three) months. c) The inclusion of the option clause and the extension of the term may be carried out only before the expiry of the contract and in the presence of unsolicited quantities. d) In case of inclusion of the option clause, the contractor undertakes to extend the term of the bank guarantee/insurance corresponding to the extended term of the contract. The procedure for opening, examination, evaluation and ranking of tenders is carried out under the conditions of Article 104(2) of the Public Procurement Act, in conjunction with Article 61 of the PPZOP. For each lot, the examination and evaluation of the submitted tenders according to the selected award criterion is carried out by the Commission in accordance with Article 61 of the PPZOP, and the technical and price proposals of the participants are evaluated before examining the documents for compliance with the personal situation of the participants and the selection criteria.
