This contract is for a number of services across Moray to support unpaid carers of all ages who are providing an active caring role to another person due to illness, frailty or disability.
— This should be taken to mean a broad range of conditions and include people affected by substance misuse and mental ill health,
— Support should be targeted and time limited, delivered where and as it is needed specifically in relation to their caring role and the impact it has on their life,
— Support should be able to be accessed directly by the individual or via referral from other services,
— Support should be delivered in an integrated way, working collaboratively with other professions and services.
